Been writing a lot, finally, and thinking a lot, but that's not too unusual.
My phone broke Saturday morning (do not text over running sinks.) and I had to pay far too much to get a new one.
Bought some lovely new (and large) canvases and paints and will hopefully start on a new painting some time this week if I have time off work.
Edit:I love when you can tell its fall because you have to wear wool stockings with riding boots just to walk to starbucks. It's suddenly started POURING and it's gorgeous, sitting here sharing a table with a stranger (who kindly offered me a seat after I gave up my table to a big group of women), watching the water cascade off the roof. I have my coffee and a cinnamon bread, and a big big notebook to write lots and lots of stories until the rain lets up a little.
Also, this just gave me some great ideas (thank you Glamour email list!)

Hope you're all doing lovely.

that sounds kind of beautiful....starbucks on a rainy day. and so romantic.
ReplyDeletep.s. was it a cute stranger?
p.p.s. yep, actually the first 5 songs on the cd are from an education. way to be creative, me. but i started trying to pick which ones to go on and they are all just SO good!
The stranger was a middle aged woman having breakfast lol She was very nice though = ] (I'll admit that one of my new friends who works here is very cute, though)
ReplyDeleteand I LOVE those songs. I'd been meaning to look them up for awhile and that totally saved me the trouble haha. So thank you!
