"Lethargy can prove fatal for life." -Rig Veda

I've done nothing but eat the past three days.
From now on I'm going to be repenting for it.
Fruit and ballet for me, from here on out.

Thanksgiving was lovely.
Except now I can hardly move for all the pie.
I want to feel all pretty and pure again,

Nostalgia is always so much more fun than when you're living it.

There is a bruised knot on my shin this morning from where my friend hurtled his iphone across the room at me.
He thought his comforter I was under would cushion the impact.
It didn't.

I'm so glad i have such an interesting best friend.

I'll let my pen bleed black and blue and I'll fill in the meaning, it will be gold and green and true.

Around ten yesterday morning, my phone buzzed in my spanish class, and I got a text from my friend who moved to new york two years ago stating
"Hey, where are you? I got wasted last night and i woke up this morning on the plane in LAX....."
So needless to say yesterday was quite an adventure.
I'm much happier, these days.
EDIT: I FINALLY PASSED MY DRIVING TEST, I HAVE A LICENSE.
It just keeps getting better.

Life itself is the most wonderful fairytale.

Once upon a time we lived in
a wooded tree filled knoll.
We laughed and loved and
played and sang until
winter took its toll.
There remained no sun
nor flowers nor leaves for
it was swept away by wind,
But we locked legs and arms and
our bodies kept warm for
the fire in our hearts they'd tend.

"She lacks that indefinable charm of weakness" -Wilde

According to Oscar Wilde, weakness is a charm.
I feel like I ought to be the most charming of all, because it seems like every other idea is my weakness.
Food, distractions, sex, procrastination, boys, laziness.

I lack that certain amount of will power that generally would make simple situations hilarious and absurd.
I can't sleep in the same bed as a boy without something happening or an attempted happening.
I can't concentrate on tedious projects for more than five minutes, around which time i spend hours at a time finding distractions like re-alphabetizing my bookshelf, color coordinating my closet/ underwear, cleaning out the fridge.

And, you know, I enjoy those flaws most of the time.

"I do all my dreaming with my eyes wide open, and I'll do my looking back with my eyes closed"

I'm deciding to be happy from now on.
I'm going to change and become who I want to be.
I want some fresh air
I want some cold weather
I want some pretty outfits
Some delicacy and freedom.
I want some really pretty desserts, to be honest.

Happiness often comes through doors you didn't even know you left open.

I could use a bit of cheerfulness.

Right now I have the last picture set as my background since it's so pretty and cheerful.
What is something that cheers you up?

"Commit the oldest sins in the newest kinds of ways" -Shakespeare

Once upon a time, there was a girl who ate too much, procrastinated too much, and wanted what she didn't have too much.
She was far too (inwardly) possessive, too over-sexed, and too self-involved.
This often affected her daily life, in rather disagreeable ways.
Having knocked out all but one of the seven deadly sins (far more than once) by the age of nineteen, she took a good look at her life, and figured she ought to be a bit classier, and well behaved.
Or, simply eat less, accept what she had, work harder, and perhaps possibly just maybe but probably unlikely, cut back on the boys.

"Start everyday with a smile and get it over with." -W.C. Fileds

I've been in a funny, anxious mood all weekend.
Halloween was mediocre. There were some great costumes I saw though.
Mainly all of the drag queens.
And when we were taking a picture with her (?) she/he said
"Are you all a bunch of straight kids?"
"yeah"
"Oh fuck." and left.
We're still not too sure what to make of it.

Anyway, happy things.
