Lovely lovely lovely.

First, let me express how excited I am for season 4 of Skins to start tonight (and how utterly bewildered I am that bbc is letting MTV make the american version of skins, wtf guys?)
edit: turns out season 4 of Skins only aired in the UK tonight. that was a let down.
Anyway, this week has brought about an oddly nostalgic feel with it, but it's all for things I've only dreamt of doing, rather than what i have done. I'm dreaming of the days next fall when i'll be back in New York, dressed in layers of tights and short dresses and long coats and vintage heels. Walking through central park and going to Serendipity and the Magnolia Bakery for meals.
And when I gain 50 pounds from living off of Dunkin Donuts munchkins because i have no money except for rent.
Good times.

This week I'm going to get atleast 15 more pages written in my book.
It WILL happen.

I wish it were summer so I could live off fruit, yogurt, and cereal again.
It's not quite warm enough yet, though.

Of blueberry pie.

This weekend has been lovely.
Going to Hollywood, baking some pies.
I wish it would start raining again.

And the sky pours down.

I love rain season in LA. Because here when it rains, it pours.
I woke up to the first thunder i've heard in about 6 years this morning and it was glorious.
On the drive to Whole foods for raisin bread and apricot jam, my car was practically submerged underwater due to a passing hummer and a lake-sized puddle. It was the most incredibly looking thing, the windshield, until I realized i couldn't see the road or the cars around me, which is when i freaked out and turned on the wipers full-blast.

Plus, since I can't really go anywhere but starbucks or wholefoods, occasionally a friends house, i'm getting a lot of reading and writing done.

The world is so much prettier, underwater.

An Education

Not only did this movie come to me in the mail (fuck yeah, SAG members) but i've been having an education of my own lately.
I've been keeping on top of things (for once), reading more, writing lots, having more tea.
Just... realizing the things I love.
And it's wonderful.

I plan to finish writing at least one script or novel by summer.

Oh these long, lingering days.

I'm in need of a job. More specifically, money, for college and rent next fall.
I still cant believe i'm going back to new york.

Everyone ought to see this movie.
It's incredible. And Lily Cole looks stunning in it.

New Year, New Outlook.

NOTE: I GOT INTO MARYMOUNT MANHATTAN FOR THE FALL, FUCK YEAH!
I'm going to be more positive this year.
Being stuck at home wont get me down.
I'm not going to over eat, over indulge, in anything but reading, dancing, writing, and things that improve myself and my mind.
I'm going to be happy this year.

And the New Year Begins.

Lots of resolutions, drunk dancing, and entirely too much food.
And tomorrow, thank god, I go back home to LA
