I keep romanticizing romance.

Someone said that "you can tell a lot about a man by the woman he loves, because nothing else he does shows his soul like she does." Why is it that I fall for all of these guys that bemoan the loss of the girls who are too silly, too bitchy, too wrong?
I want that whirlwind, carefree, tickle-fighting, sleep-late love.
That loud, shy, laughing, hand-holding in public, throw cautions to the wind love.
The kind where you stand close and talk quiet and you smile the whole time with your eyes real big.
That sort where you could walk around the house naked all day, comfortable, but it's also alright not to.
I want that love that makes you smile to your self through out the day, unprovoked.
What happened to love notes?
What happened to chivalry?
What happened to romance?
Where on earth did it go?

I want that happy lazy stay in bed all day, not even getting up because you're hungry, talk until the sun comes up, love.
Where some part of your bodies-- toes to calf, nose to chest, hand to stomach-- are always touching on accident when you're asleep.
I don't want to be taken out to some expensive restaurant.
I don't need to be given things.
I want honest-to-god happiness.
Where is this?
