I have found God, and his name is Marc Jacobs.

This is an extremely quick post, but by some divine miracle I have suddenly come into free Marc Jacobs items by the absolute best most wonderful family in the world, who will from here on be reffered to as the Lovely L's.
Mama L was given by her ex-sister inlaw a pair of extraordinary Marc by Marc Jacobs high-heeled lace-up combat boots.
Which she, fortunately, wasn't very fond of, and neither were Best (best friend) L or Cousin L.
And me, practically being an L myself, was the next choice.
I NOW HAVE THE MOST WONDERFUL SHOES EVER.

They're like this, except brownish-purple leather.
I couldn't find any pictures online, and I'm not sure what season they're from,
but they're the most wonderful thing i've ever recieved.

ALMOST as wonderful as the Marc by Marc Jacobs teal turn-lock clutch wallet that Best L gave me for my birthday this month.
Could there be better people in this world?
I have zero complaints as of now.

Halloween is tomorrow, and I couldn't be more excited!
Though it is a bit depressing it will be my first year not trick or treating (after realizing last year i was too old for it when kids i knew were the ones giving out candy to me and my friend), I'm really pumped to go to the West Hollywood Gay Halloween Parade.
If you happen to be there, I'll be the well-dressed zebra with an equally well-dressed giraffe, and probably two guys dressed up as balloon boy and his balloon.

It's fall now, and i can feel it!

^I had these when I was on Portland (chocolate, of course) and OH MY EFFING GOD. I'm learning how to bake them now.

Also, I felt like I needed to share my obsession with high heeled saddle shoes.
Since I've been sick all week, last night I felt like I ought to get coffee to give me some energy (two cups, bad call.) and on the way home I ended up buying myself a pair of these. $15 at the second hand store. WORTH IT.

Hope you guys have an amazing halloween, whether you trick-or-treat or just have a scary movie marathon, or just eat your self into a coma by means of the biggest bags of reeses you can find.
It's going to be AWESOME.

Oh and as a side note, I highly suggest reading Sherlock Holmes. It's so ridiculously good. I'm on the first volume right now

Tea and chocolate cure everything. And when that fails, have a shot of whiskey.

Spanish midterm- completely (i think i did well)
Driving exam- fail #2 (taking it the third time in a few weeks)
Logic test- TBA, i read Sherlock Holmes in place of studying. He is using deductive logic...

Aside from failing my driving test, which surprisingly enough I'm pretty alright with, I'm practically coughing up my lungs at the moment, which may make getting high for halloween a bit more difficult.
I suppose I could forgo it, but given the option, i rather not.
I just need to curl up with a good book, tea, chocolate, and some theraflu.
Or, as my great grandma always told me (being from the south and from a very irish family) a few shots of whiskey will cure any cold. And if it doesn't, at least you've forgotten you had a cold in the first place.

My mind, currently.

i miss the old days, before I did nothing but eat and when my hair was lovely and long.
I want them back.

Also, I have no idea how i failed to mention this in my last post, but
MY BEST FRIEND IS WONDERFUL.

It's turquoise, and it was the best birthday present i've ever received.
Marc Jacobs is almost as wonderful a person as my wonderful wonderful friend (not to be named.)

Some one pleaseeeeee get me teaaaaaa.

"A hangover is when you open your eyes in the morning and wish you hadn't."

Right now I have the most intense mental hangover.
Opposed to what I thought, I some how wasn't intoxicated at any point this weekend, but it was AMAZING.
Let me say, that if any of you live in Portland, you're so lucky you get to see that beauty every day.
There is nothing like running through the rain with one of your boots filled with water, laughing, and feeling that warm hot chocolate make its way down your throat.
tl;dr my weekend?
-shopping
-portland zoo
-Escape gay dance club >> DRAG SHOW.
- snuggling in bed with my best friend watching good movies.
- more delicious sushi than i ever should have eaten.

On the good side, I met a lovely lovely Canadian boy today.

It's time for a mental/physical makeover.

"Life is never easy for those who dream"

I'm off to Portland today!
I can't wait for a weekend presumably filled with autumn leaves, cold air, wandering the city, and seeing my darling.
Supposedly getting high, dancing with gay boys, haunted house, and going to a zoo.
I'm in such a lazy, dreamy, whimsical state.
Hopefully I'll get lots of writing/ reading/ drawing done on the plane.
I'll be back sunday, hopefully with plenty of pictures.

"Too great cleverness is but deceptive delicacy, true delicacy is the most substantial cleverness.”-Rochefoucauld

After a rather impromptu and causeless nervous breakdown last night (followed by the entire third season of the Office at my best friend's house and sneaking sips of his Lemon Up from In-n-Out) I've been feeling a bit frail and on edge.
Luckily, tumblrs and blogspots have been there with their lovely alternate universes of pretty, whimsical pictures to take my mind off things.

And to end this on a bit of a tangent, I'm trying to think up new ideas for what my second tattoo should be (the first is a drawn-on looking turquoise star on my left shoulder)
I'm mostly set on getting a quote (preferably short because tattoos are expensive) on my ribs.
This one is a quote from the Fransesca Lia Block book "Ecstasia" that i'm thinking of getting.
"The start of faith is disbelief
Love begins alone
Happiness is loss's child
Ever still is never's soul"

Opinions, anyone?

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

So it stopped raining again.
It rained for almost two days straight and on the third day there was just lots of mud. (lucky thing i bought those wedge-heeled rainboots for new york last year)
Now LA is back to 90* and smoggy. I can't wait to get out.

All I want is to wake up slow to the sound of rain when it's nice and cool out.
Fortunately I've been reading enough to distract me from that lately.
I just want to see the world.
And meet someone lovely.
